KIAS was established on 24 August 1999
The course components needed to meet the graduation requirements are:
- LAN Compulsory Courses
- College Required Courses
- Department Major Courses
- College Elective Courses
Repeat Exam:
A re-examination can be held for any student who obtains permission to postpone the semester exam on a date determined by the Examination Board and, as far as possible, be held within one week before the start of the new semester.
Special Repeat Exam:
- A particular re-examination can be held for any final semester student who needs to pass only one course to obtain a Diploma/Degree.
- The exam can only be taken once, and the application must be made within fourteen (14) days after the results are announced.
- The application must be submitted to the Examination Board and after receiving the application, must arrange the examination within four (4) weeks after the application period for the examination ends.
Credit Transfer Subject to the approval of the Head of Department, any student may apply for credit transfer on any course taken at any other institution to be considered in meeting his graduation requirements. The maximum amount allowed is no more than one-third of the total credit hours required for the level of study. Allowed credit transfers must be made because they have passed the same subject or are recognized by the college.
The College will consider setting the study course duration for students who get credit transfers.
