INTRODUCTION

The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said, “The best of you are those who learn the Quran and teach it.” (Hadith narrated by Bukhari)

 

The knowledge of the Quran is vast and worth exploring. One branch of Quranic knowledge is related to the correct method of recitation as commanded by Allah (SWT). This is known as Tajwid. The revelation of the Quran from Allah (SWT) with several qiraat should also be known and talaqqi from a qualified teacher. Proper recitation of the Quran with tarannum will captivate the reader, encouraging them to continuously recite the words of Allah. Furthermore, understanding the verses will enhance the reader’s devotion. Ultimately, a proper understanding of divine requirements makes it easier for a person to comply with Allah’s commands.

 

Offering the Al-Quran and Qiraat Studies Certificate, which includes modules on Tajwid al-Quran, Tahsin al-Quran, Tartil al-Quran, Qiraat al-Quran, and Tilawah al-Quran, is an effort towards building a knowledgeable generation that practices the teachings of the Quran.

OBJECTIVES

Through this course, participants are expected to achieve the following objectives:

 

  1. Motivated to acquire Quranic knowledge to improve recitation, understand, and appreciate the verses.
  2. Acquire knowledge related to the Quran, such as Introduction to the Quran, Introduction to Qiraat, Introduction to Tarannum, Rasm al-Mushaf, al-Fawasil, Tafsir, and the etiquettes of Quran recitation.
  3. Understand the theory and practice of Tarannum and the Mutawatir Qiraat al-Quran from the Seven and Ten Qiraat.
  4. Master the basics of Tarannum and the basics of Ten Qiraat recitations.

STUDY DURATION

  •  Tajwid Al-Quran Module – 48 hours over 12 weeks
  • Tahsin Al-Quran Module – 36 hours over 12 weeks
  • Tartil Al-Quran Module – 48 hours over 12 weeks
  • Qiraat Al-Quran Module – 144 hours over 36 weeks
  • Tilawah Al-Quran Module – 72 hours over 18 weeks

Payments can be made in installments. The first installment of RM 100.00 must be paid on the day of registration.

EVALUTION

Examinations are conducted to assess the participants’ proficiency. However, participants are not required to take these examinations. Those who choose to take the examinations will be evaluated based on the following aspects:

  1. Written
  2. Oral

CERTIFICATION

Participants of any module will receive a certificate in the following categories:

  1. Certificate of Passing with Rank: for participants who pass the examination.
  2. Certificate of Participation: for participants who fail or do not take the examination.

 

A Certificate of Al-Quran and Qiraat Studies will be awarded to participants who complete all the offered modules, categorized as follows:

  1. Certificate of Passing with Rank: for participants who pass the examination.
  2. Certificate of Participation: for participants who fail or do not take the examination.
