Talaqqi Quranic Recitation Class with Sanad (PERGERAQ)
Islamic Studies Course Center (PKPII)
INTRODUCTION
It is undeniable that the primary method of receiving and learning the Quran by the Imams of Quranic recitation and scholars is through talaqqi and al-musyafahah (face-to-face recitation) with a chain of transmission (sanad) that traces back to the Prophet Muhammad to preserve the authenticity of the knowledge. Therefore, the Islamic Studies Course Center (PKPII) considers it highly appropriate to make the Sultan Ismail Petra International Islamic College (KIAS) a platform for the community to deepen their Quranic knowledge through talaqqi and musyafahah. They offer the Talaqqi Quranic Recitation Class with Sanad (KQTA) to meet the current societal need for guidance and intensive learning from accredited and authoritative experts in this field.
OBJECTIVES
Establish a proper method of Quranic learning and study through talaqqi and musyafahah, involving face-to-face recitation with a teacher whose recitation has been verified.
Enhance participants’ knowledge of tajweed (rules of Quranic recitation) and Qiraat (different methods of recitation) through presentations by experts in these fields.
Produce high-quality and authoritative Quran teachers awarded a sanad of talaqqi connecting back to the Prophet Muhammad.
