Dewan Johor KIAS |The Excellence Service Award Ceremony 2024 and KIAS Staff Retirement Ceremony took place on Tuesday, 23rd of Syawal 1446H, corresponding to 22nd April 2025. The event began with a welcoming speech delivered by YABrs. Prof. Dr. Mazlan bin Ibrahim, Rector of Sultan Ismail Petra International Islamic University College (KIAS).
The ‘Anugerah Perkhidmatan Cemerlang’ (APC) (Excellence Service Award) ceremony was organized as a gesture of appreciation towards KIAS staff and as a symbolic expression of gratitude for their contributions and dedicated service in fulfilling their duties excellently throughout 2024.
Congratulations are extended to the 8 recipients of the 2024 Excellence Service Award among the academic staff and 8 recipients among the management staff. Each APC recipient was awarded an APC Certificate along with a Wafer Gold. Additionally, the Best Worker Certificate was presented to two General Workers and two Security Guards.
The event was further enlivened by the presentation of retirement souvenirs to two long-serving KIAS staff members, Madam Norma bt Jusoff and Madam Norizan binti Ismail, who have been serving since 1999. Also honored was an Assistant Registrar who is set to retire in May.
It is hoped that this award ceremony will inspire and motivate all KIAS staff to strengthen their commitment and continue providing excellent service in their respective roles, in line with the goal of becoming a Rabbani Higher Education Institution.
As the event was held during the month of Syawal, it concluded with a Hari Raya feast for all KIAS staff, graced by the presence of several members of the KIAS Darulnaim Sdn Bhd Board of Directors and the KIAS Board of Governors.
